Automatic Vegetable Transplanter
An autonomous multi-crop transplanter enhances farm efficiency by automating planting processes using AI and machine learning. Equipped with sensors and cameras, it assesses soil conditions, moisture, and terrain in real-time to ensure optimal planting depth, spacing, and alignment for various seedlings. Its multi-crop capability allows seamless transitions between different crops, saving time and reducing manual adjustments.
Powered by renewable energy sources like solar or electric batteries, the transplanter is eco-friendly and cost-effective. By minimizing labor costs, reducing errors, and ensuring uniform crop establishment, it promotes higher yields and sustainable agricultural practices. The project includes study of Existing Vegetable Transplanter and the development of an Automatic Vegetable Transplanter with the Research Grant of Rs. 3,00,000 from Research at Kumaraguru College of Technology.
